THE COUP – “WAVIP” F. DAS RACIST & KILLER MIKE

The Coup will release their first album in six years, Sorry to Bother You, at the end of the month. OK, technically, it’s dropping Oct. 30, but you get my point. And to build some excitement for the release, they just dropped a funky-as-hell new single, “WAVIP”. The track finds frontman Boots Riley trading bars with Das Racist MCs Kool A.D. and Heems, the latter of whom finishes the cut, and Killer Mike. You kind of can’t go wrong with that lineup and, thankfully, everyone shows up. Stream below.
