Philadelphia based emcee/producer, Taylor Dunn, recently dropped his third mixtape “Collective Theory.” The name of the tape comes from the creative process behind creating the project. All of the beats on the album were a collaborative effort between Dunn, frequent collaborator Philth Spector and newcomer, Phil Blanks (19 years old out of the UK). The creative process started in a dorm room at La Salle University, where Taylor goes and plays basketball, and files were sent back and forth to Blanks in the UK.

Bio
Taylor Dunn is a 22 year old producer slash rapper born in state college, PA., attended high school in Morgantown, WV., and is currently a member of the La Salle University men’s basketball team in Philadelphia PA. Taylor’s official mixtape debut entitled Daydreaming is available on various mixtape websites and blogs and has received very positive reviews. The follow up tape, On The Contrary dropped this past October. Collective Theory is his third tape shows his growth as a complete artist (both MC and a producer). His influences run deep from the early 90s boom bap and jazz based hip hop that originated in NYC to the innovative styles of Pharrell Williams and Kanye West. Taylor is always pushing himself to be considered one of the best lyrically and production wise. With the right people around him there is no doubt he can experience great success in the hip hop world.
