Over the Summer my band Sweatshop participated in Afropunk‘s Battle of the Bands. One band that we met along the way definitely stood out to us for being dope performers and turned out to be cool as people as well. The band was called (i am) Isis and they just released their newest single called Get Free. The music is incredible and the message in it is extremely relevant right now. The single’s available for $1 on bandcamp and I strongly urge you to grab it and support a group that’s working hard and definitely deserves it.
