“R U Listening” is a bit of an unexpected gem today, as the underdog Wu-Tang member in Masta Killa come through with a stellar offering, but it is produced by fellow Clan associate Inspectah Deck. While we would usually expect some gutter street anthem from these two, the new single is far more soothing and soulful than one could have ever hoped. It is shaping up to be a rather splendid year for the Shaolin, as several members prep solo releases, and the RZA continues to kill it with his big screen offering and matching sound track. Not to mention the collaborative Clan album that is supposedly in the works.
