Smoke DZA – City of Dreams [Official Music Video]

When my homie showed me this he was surprised I hadn’t already seen it. So was I given my obsessions with animated music videos. I love this video because it has elements of stop-motion / time lapse art that then line up with real shots. A simple effect but when executed well, the results are stunning. Leave it to Dash man. If we can say anyone is still representing for the art and creativity of this culture from a holistic perspective you gotta give it to Dame. All in all this is tuff. The Kushed God DZA holds it down for Harlem with the Diplomats making cameos towards the end. (Where did they get that Neon sign made?!)
