Later this year, sneaker heavyweight Converse will unleash the third installment in its increasingly popular series of compilations. Our first taste of the project comes in the form of Black Satin, a lead single featuring everyone’s favorite Gary, Indiana repper, Freddie Gibbs. Penned by the emcee in conjunction with Hanni El Khatib, who also handles production, the record sees Gangsta Gibbs spinning a vivid street narrative over his collaborator’s edgy, guitar-laced instrumental backdrop. Listeners can expect three more song releases this spring, leading up to the CONS EP Vol. 3‘s yet-unspecified drop date.
